They remind me of Van Gogh particularly around the trees and the horizontal lines of the pastoral landscape. The snow makes it feel more like paint daubs as well! Weather is a constant amazement. Today here in my world it is sunny, and crisp, but with a freshness that comes from a break in the cold snap. The sunlight is glistening on the blanket of snow carving patterns with the shadows.
