Weeds

Queen Anne's lace (Anthriscus sylvestris; cow parsley; hundkex) and bishop's weed (Aegopodium podagraria; ground elder, snow-in-the-mountain; kirskål, skvallerkål). Kind of fancy names for simple weeds, don't you think? With dad having been ill the last years the gardens -- his gardens -- have been a bit neglected, letting the white-blossom weeds like the ones above spread more than usual. But they can be very pretty too, especially in the evenings. I've got several pics that I want to show, but until then I uploaded this one, slightly blurry pic as a kind of teaser.

  1. Neglected gardens have their own magic. They are dreamlike, full of secrets, like this picture and many of your other pictures. Hope your Dad's surgery was successful. All the best, Milka
