The crocus started to pop up through the lawn earlier this week, but it's still relatively cold and very rainy so they're growing slowly. Can't wait for them to start bloom, coving the lawns in purple, white and yellow.
It's not moving fast, but it is coming. Let's hope without any backlashes... But, you know, when posting those pics it was still pretty cold, foggy and rainy, real miserable winter weather, still. Can't wait for the first warm wind, for the first scent of spring soil, for the crocus to bloom and the pussy willow to bud now! Fingers crossed we'll get a better spring than winter -- on both sides of the Atlantic!
(One sure spring sign, though, has appeared: we've been forewarned about the potato season being near -- one farmer has actually planted their first potatoes already, but that's crazy early!)
Oh! I am so happy that it is SPRING someplace in the world! That picture gives me so much hope. Enjoy the day! Erin
